5. How do we get organized to Stand
Up for something of value?
Talk with like-minded people and ask
families to join in the NEW INNOVATIVE WAY TO CELEBRATE
INDEPENDENCE DAY! When you get a second willing family,
school or neighbor, ask them to get two acquaintances
to join. Work to get 4 or 12 teams. A family can be
a team; some large families can be two teams or can
join a neighbor's that does not have quite enough
team members. Get your Materials off the Materials
section and begin to learn.
6. How else can we motivate and help
each other?
Go to the poetry, songs or editorials-essay
ACS section and sing songs that are uplifting, recite
the Pledge of Allegiance, learn a poem and recite
it, or give a speech, Tell about Sam Adams, Quote
Patrick Henry at your celebration, camp-out, church,
neighborhood breakfast, picnic. Put on a skit or make
one up yourself about the Liberty Bell that says Proclaim
liberty throughout the land and to all the inhabitantsthereof--and
use at a Family Reunion! Why not Read Johnny Tremain.

7. Spread the word. Be a patron of the
Declaration of Independence. July 4. Let us know what
